RBR Staff Writer Published 19 August 2013

US-based self-serve frozen yogurt chain Yogurtland has entered into franchise agreements to open 20 new outlets across the country.

The latest deal brings the chain's total restaurants in development to 100 additional locations. Yogurtland also opened 20 stores during the last two months.

The units under the new deals will be developed across the US and include new markets like Rhode Island. Recently opened stores are located across California, Boston, Chicago, and New York.

Currently, Yogurtland has more than 240 units across the US, Australia, Guam, Mexico, and Venezuela.

Founded in 2006, Irvine-based Yogurtland is targeting a growth goal of 1,000 restaurants by 2017.

Its menu features a wide range of yoghurt flavors, including Almond Midnight Mocha, Amaretto Cookies, Apricot Tart, Bananas Foster and Birthday Cupcake Batter.
