RBR Staff Writer Published 16 April 2013

The New Miami Subs Grill, a restaurant chain in the US, has signed a deal with Ocean Breeze Hawaii to open 58 restaurants in Hawaii.

The proposed store openings are part of the chain's aim to expand domestically and internationally.

The announcement comes in the midst of New Miami Subs Grill's single deal to open 56 outlets in Gulf Coast countries of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar and Bahrain as well as in Guyana and South America

The New Miami Subs Grill CEO Richard Chwatt said, "With national and global expansion at the helm for The New Miami Subs Grill, we are intently focused on strengthening and expanding our brand both internationally and domestically."

Franchise development director Robert Haat said, "With our launch in the Hawaiian market, we are now looking forward to continuing our expansion further west and are actively seeking qualified candidates in both Japan and California due to the strong synergy between these three areas."

Under domestic expansion, the brand intends to open outlets in Miami - Miami Springs, Miami and South Beach - for the first time in over 20 years.
