Russo's plans New York Pizzeria brand overseas expansion

RBR Staff Writer Published 17 June 2013

Russo's Restaurants, a restaurant operator in the US, plans to further expand the global presence of its New York Pizzeria brand.

As part of the expansion plan, the company will open outlets throughout the Middle East in 2013. It also plans global strategic expansion that includes markets across Europe and Asia.

Russo's Restaurants founder and CEO chef Anthony Russo said that the brand's locations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai have exceeded all the expectations.

"We see a lot of growth potential in the European and Asian markets, and we have the capacity to do so efficiently," he said.

In addition to international growth, since launching its franchising initiative, Russo's has expanded into additional US markets beyond its Houston home market.
