Famous Brands chief executive officer Kevin Hedderwick told Bloomberg that the company's brands are gaining hold in African region.

There are nearly 15 potential markets in the continent for the company outside its home market where it operates restaurant brands such as Steers burgers and Debonairs Pizza.

The company is also looking to make its way into the UK by opening it first Steers burgers outlet.

Further, the restaurant chain is also looking to open a restaurant under Debonairs Pizza brand in India.
