Dunkin' Donuts plans to expand further in California

RBR Staff Writer Published 17 October 2013

Dunkin' Donuts is seeking franchise partners to expand in California's Central Valley and Central Coast, including Fresno, Bakersfield, Sacramento and Santa Barbara.

As part of the expansion, Dunkin' Donuts is recruiting qualified multi-unit operators to operate both traditional restaurants and a variety of non-traditional venues such as colleges and universities, casinos, military bases, supermarkets, airports, and travel centers.

This store expansion plan is part of the company's strategy to operate as many as 1,000 restaurants across California.

Dunkin' Brands franchising and business development vice president Grant Benson said, "We look forward to opening both traditional and non-traditional Dunkin' Donuts restaurants in California and to making our famous beverages, baked goods and sandwiches available to an ever-growing base of customers."

Founded in 1950, Dunkin' Donuts currently has more than 10,500 restaurants in 31 countries.
