RBR Staff Writer Published 20 January 2014

Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants has signed a 100-store development agreement in the southern part of California, marking the chain’s largest development deal so far.

The 10-year deal with Kevin Roche and Bryan Roche, along with partner Phil Fontes, will develop 100 new Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants in Fresno, The Inland Empire, Greater Los Angeles and the Central Coastal market areas.

Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants president and CEO Roland Dickey, Jr. said, "We're gaining momentum in key markets that have embraced our brand."

The Roches own locations in Hanford, Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, and Santa Maria and are currently in the construction phase on a site in Seaside.

There are 41 Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants in California.

Dickey's Barbecue concept has expanded to over 350 locations in 43 US states and offers a quality selection of signature meats, home style sides, tangy barbecue sauce and free kids meals every Sunday.
