Dickey's Barbecue Pit to open in Lynden, Washington

Dickey's Barbecue Pit, a US-based restaurant chain, is all set to open a new location in Lynden, Washington on 22 February 2012.

The new restaurant, which is located at 8082 Guide Meridian Road, Suite 103, offers a selection of signature meats, home style sides and tangy barbecue sauce.

Local franchise owner of the new Lynden store is Charmain Benson. The shop is situated right next to Starbucks on Guide Meridian Road.

As part of the store opening, first 100 customers will receive a free pulled pork big barbecue sandwich.

Dickey's restaurants serve beef brisket, pulled pork, ham, polish sausage, turkey breast and chicken, with an array of home-style sides from jalapeno beans to macaroni and cheese.

The chain opened its first store in Dallas in 1941 and began franchising in 1994. Dickey's Barbecue operates more than 200 stores in 36 states.
