Michel’s Patisserie eyes retail expansion with new franchise partners

RBR Staff Writer Published 03 February 2014

Michel’s Patisserie, part of Australian food franchise operator Retail Food Group (RFG), is looking for new franchise partners for more than 50 available franchise opportunities across the country.

The company said it is seeking local partners who are interested in owning and operating their own business.

Retail Food Group (RFG) franchisee recruitment and leasing manager Faith Manning said career fulfilment, flexibility and a good work/life balance are key factors for any person making the decision to open a small business.

"Owned by RFG, Michel's Patisserie new Franchisees have access to a world class training facility where they are equipped with all of the skills and knowledge they need to make their business a success - and the support doesn't stop there. Our marketing, operations and business support systems are always available to provide advice and assistance," Manning added.

Michel's Patisserie is a chain of bakery-style food outlets selling cakes, pies, savouries, and espresso coffee.

The company is a franchise system that was founded in 1988 and is based in Australia, with over 360 retail outlets in all Australian states and territories, except Northern Territory and Tasmania, as well as New Zealand and China.

The chain employs approximately 4,000 staff.
